Project Description – Onshore
Position – Resid Conversion Process Lead
Start date – ASAP
Duration – 12 months (renewable)
Salary – Negotiable and based on the seniority level
Overtime – already included in the daily rate
Rotation – 120/16 (120 days on site, 16 days on leave)
Probationary Period – 60 working days
Notice period – 30 working days
Working days - 5 days/week (Saturday, Sunday off)
Working hours - 8 hours/day
Accommodation – Single accommodation is provided in line with corporate standards
Insurance – 300`000 D&D / 200`000 Life / Medical provided / Income Protection provided
Living allowance – EUR 1`162/month pro rate thereof i.e paid per days of presence
Expertise - Delayed Coking
Reports to - Technology Manager
Travel – As required
Qualifications and experience:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Chemical or Petroleum or other Process Related fields preferred
15+ years experience in the design of process facilities, in plant troubleshooting, in start up/shutdown procedures
Experience working as a team leader in a major Engineering & Contracting Company
Have 5+ years experience in design, operation and troubleshooting of Delayed Coking Units preferably from different Licensors.
At least one experience at Site for Precommissioning, Commissioning and Start-up of a Delayed Coking Unit in the last 5 years.
Good knowledge of critical issues and solutions related to Delayed Coking Units such as Coke Drum design and arrangement, coke cutting, coke handling, safety, etc.
Working knowledge of all relevant codes and standards and industry practices
Main Function:
Support the process engineering activities relevant to the Delayed Coking Unit.
Advices on licensed Delayed Coking design and provide technical support for improvements and optimizations.
Review Process, Engineering, Commissioning and Start Up documentation related to Delayed Coking Unit
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Supervise Process activities related to critical issues such as Process Control, Material selection, Process Datasheets development for Long Lead item and P&ID’s .
Participates to P&ID’s, HAZOP and 3D Model reviews
Advises on performance guarantees.
Interact with Client Process Manager and other client representatives for technical issues.
Coordinate the engineering efforts in assigned areas among process group and other engineering groups or disciplines, suppliers and contractors.
Advises project team on process input to engineering team.
